Spiders and Sparrows Font

April 21, 2016 by 7ZIMj1N9Ta

Spiders and Sparrows Font Sample

Spiders and Sparrows is a playful, mischievous, slightly gothic and somewhat creepy font. It looks good in title case, all caps, or all lowercase. Smaller sizes look creepier.

Kooky Kieran Hearts Font

March 11, 2016 by 7ZIMj1N9Ta

Kooky Kieran is a handwriting font that was drawn out by my (then) teenage little sister somewhere around the year 2000. Kooky Kieran Hearts is the adorable alternate version of the original “plain” font (which can be purchased with this font at a discount, or individually). It is a handwriting font with several hearts drawn in, and is the kind of writing that a girl might carefully draw out in her diary or in notes to her friends.

Kooky Kieran Font

March 11, 2016 by 7ZIMj1N9Ta

Kooky Kieran is a handwriting font that was drawn out by my (then) teenage little sister somewhere around the year 2000. This is Kieran’s “plain” handwriting font — she also drew out several alternate heart-shaped letters, which I compiled into a separate font called Kooky Kieran Hearts. (The two fonts can be purchased individually or as a discounted bundle.)

Dancing Pam Font

February 26, 2016 by 7ZIMj1N9Ta

Dancing Pam was made from a character set my mom drew out some 15 years ago at the very end of my high school typography phase. It is a script font with large capital letters, and is probably best used as a decorative title.

John’s 1000 Hurts Font

February 12, 2016 by 7ZIMj1N9Ta

The John’s 1000 Hurts handwriting font was scrawled out one evening on a piece of paper by a friend in high school while we sat listening to records. I think it nicely captures high school angst. Since its release (probably in late 2000), I’ve added several more glyphs, including accent characters.

Randy Described Eternity Font

February 12, 2016 by 7ZIMj1N9Ta

The Randy Described Eternity font was created from dollar store stamps, which I still use to this day on birthday and holiday cards. The font was originally released in August 2001. In February 2016, I added several more characters to the set, including accent characters.

I also created a second font called Randy Described Eternity Clean. It is nearly identical, except I removed the rubber stamp edges from each character and brought the characters a little closer together. It may be a little easier to read.

Both fonts are included in the same demo download and purchase.

Gastro Intestinal Confluent Font

February 12, 2016 by 7ZIMj1N9Ta

The Gastro Intestinal Confluent font, which is spooky and tall, was a follow-up to an original Gastro Intestinal font released in December 2000. I didn’t like the original because it wasn’t “solid” enough — too thin and not very legible. Eventually, after making this version in January 2001, I pulled the original altogether.

According to my early notes on the font, “I got the name from an anatomy poster on my wall, titled ‘Motility and the Gastro-Intestinal Tract.’ It’s kinda gross (the poster.)” Who knew?

Regurgitation Font

February 12, 2016 by 7ZIMj1N9Ta

The Regurgitation font was first released in late 2000. Who knows what I was thinking to create a liquidy, gurgly font with such a terrible name? (According to my early notes, “Once again I looked at my anatomy poster to name a font, but the name suits it well. It’s kinda watery-looking.”)

At any rate, this font contains uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and basic punctuation. It is free to download if you want it!

By Starlight Font

February 12, 2016 by 7ZIMj1N9Ta

The By Starlight font was originally completed in December of 2000, but there were two versions prior to this one that were scrapped. This is a jumbly, lullaby font and it looks much better in larger sizes. This is a freebie. Enjoy!

Dreamwish Font

January 31, 2016 by 7ZIMj1N9Ta

Dreamwish, originally released in late 2002, is a bubbly, jumbly, cartoonish font with a dreamy feel. The font is intended to be used in conjunction with the star characters which are in the number glyphs. The font isn’t a full character set and is therefore free of charge. Hope you like it!

Ben Brown Font

January 31, 2016 by 7ZIMj1N9Ta

Ben Brown is a font made of my older brother’s neat handwriting. It was first created in October of 2000, and has since been updated with several new characters, including accents.

Jed the Humanoid Font

January 31, 2016 by 7ZIMj1N9Ta

Jed the Humanoid, originally released in September of 2001, was inspired by the song of the same name by the band Grandaddy. It was my first (and at the time of this writing, my only) attempt at making a futuristic font. The caps and lowercase are the same. More punctuation glyphs have been added since its original release.

Lauren C. Brown Font

January 31, 2016 by 7ZIMj1N9Ta

Lauren C. Brown was one of the first fonts I created, in October of 2000. I had just begun my senior year of high school and my font obsession was in full force. This font was of my terrible high school handwriting, but somehow people liked it — it is my most popular font, to date!

The font has been updated with several more characters, including accents.
